You have probably heard the terms DTF and UV DTF. Both can create the same amazing images but to put it in terms you might be used to thinking of DTF is like HTV. It is applied with Heat to Clothing/fabrics. We have a brilliant supplier here in Ireland We Print you Press. UV DTF is similar to permanent vinyl in that you can apply to flat surfaces, no heat is needed but it is easier to use in that it is one layer to be applied with no weeding or layering of vinyl colours to create the final image.


What exactly are these UV DTF Transfers and Wraps?
This is a process where a UV Printer prints Directly To Film (UV DTF) .
One of the biggest advantages to UV DTF Printing is the high resolution of the prints image, printed colours are super vibrant and it is easy to create customised and unique prints.

UV DTF prints are extremely durable. As the images are UV Cured it makes them highly fade resistant during washing and exposure to the sun. This means their quality will be maintained over time. They are also more scratch resistant than traditional films and as an added bonus they are relatively ECO Friendly as they require less energy and resources for the printing process, also due to their high quality they are less likely to end up in landfill.

UV DTF images are opaque. They can be used on both light and dark colours and be visible.Images will print in full colours and White unless otherwise stated for design reasons. They are then coated in a varnish and when applied will give a slightly embossed effect.

What can UV DTF be applied to?
UV DTF can be used on any clean, dry, smooth surface. Examples of which would be Glasses, MDF, Cold Cups, Ceramic dishes, Stainless steel tumblers, Hyperion/Epoxy Resin Tumblers (when used as the final decal no sealing is necessary), acrylic tumblers and craft items and plastic such as trick or treat buckets etc.
They do not apply to cloth or any type of soft fabric.

  1. UV DTF in a full 16oz wrap, this literally takes 5 minutes to apply to the cup. It is a simple and quick way to complete a product to gift, sell or enjoy yourself.
  2. We also offer a slightly smaller wrap sized to a 16oz libby can but designed to leave space for personalisation to still be done.
  3. We have many single image Decals available too, these are normally used as the main image in a design and added to with vinyl to completely customise a design for you or your customer. They save you time but also allow you to have high quality images while keeping that option to personalise and design that one of a kind item.
